Patchy outbreaks of rain quickly clear, leaving dry conditions across most of the UK. Isolated showers are likely for a time in the north west, but they steadily fade away. In sunny spells it will feel pleasant.

Tonight:
Outbreaks of rain push across Northern Ireland and Scotland, turning heavy in places. England and Wales remain mostly dry, although by morning it is likely to be turning wet in the north.

Tomorrow:
The band of rain edges southwards, reaching central Britain in the afternoon. It will tend to fragment, but some heavy bursts are still possible. In the south it will be dry, bright and warm. It also turns drier in northern areas.

Sunday: The remnants of the rain clear from the south east in the morning. All of the UK can then expect dry and bright conditions. Feeling quite warm in southern and central areas.

Outlook: Mixed. Showers or longer spells of rain are likely, particularly in the north and west. In southern and eastern areas it is could be very warm for a time early on, but cooler air is likely to push southeastwards again fairly quickly, so temperatures dip.
