However, outbreaks of rain clear eastwards, leaving sunny spells in England and Wales. In the north, it stays cloudier and another area of rain pushes into the northwest. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 1st September 2026 Warm in England and Wales Outbreaks of rain in central and northern Britain steadily clear eastwards. The south will be mostly dry and bright, and as the day progresses sunny spells develop more widely. However, it is likely to remain cloudier in the north, and a band of heavy showery rain pushes across Northern Ireland and western Scotland.
