Showers in the north

Showers affect the northern half of the UK, but they become more scattered. Southern and central regions have a dry day. Cloud amounts vary, but there will be sunny spells.

Temperatures range from 13°C in the north west to 22°C in the south east. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Monday: Heavy bursts of rain push southeastwards across the northern half of the UK. Elsewhere it is expected to be mostly dry, although showers are possible in the southwest.

Outlook: Rather cool conditions are likely, particularly in the north. All areas could see showers or longer spells of rain, with the wettest conditions in the west. However, there should be a good deal of dry weather in the south and east, increasingly so towards the end of next week.
