Humid with thundery showers

Heavy and thundery showers push northwards into northern Wales, Northern Ireland and northern England this afternoon. Bright spells develop to their south. Scotland remains mostly dry and sunny.

Temperatures depend on cloud cover, but it will be humid and very warm where the sun shines. Values range from 19°C in northern Scotland to 28°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight:
Showers in the north steadily fade away. However, another band of heavy and thundery rain moves into southern and central areas by the morning. 

Tomorrow:
The band of thundery rain slowly pushes northwards through the day bringing the potential for surface flooding. Scotland is likely to remain mostly dry, while brighter conditions return to much of southern Britain in the afternoon.

Friday: Heavy and thundery outbreaks of rain pivot around an area of low pressure. Initially they affect northern areas, but they steadily move southeastwards. Cooler and fresher conditions follow into the north and west.

Outlook: Rather unsettled weather is expected to continue as disturbances move in from the Atlantic. They will bring the likelihood of further showers or longer spells of rain, initially focused on southern and central regions.
