However, from Tuesday onwards, the chance of showers or longer spells of rain increases. Southern and central areas could see significant amounts of rain, although forecast details remain uncertain. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 4th August 2026 Fine in much of the UK Patchy rain affects the far north but the rest of the UK has a dry day. Cloud amounts vary, but most places have a reasonable amount of sunshine, and it will feel quite warm. Temperatures range from 16°C in northern Scotland to 24°C in the south.
