Early next week is looking predominantly dry, but there are signs of things going downhill in time for the August bank holiday. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 4th August 2026 Heavy and thundery showers There will be bright spells today, but also showers which turn heavy and thundery in places. They bring the potential for flash flooding, but many places are likely to miss the worst of them. Temperatures range from 14°C in northern Scotland to 22°C in the south east.
