Even southern counties are likely to see some rain, but amounts vary. Another thing of note will be the lower temperatures, although it will still be warm in the south to begin with. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 4th August 2026 Rain in the north and west Patchy spells of rain affect northern and western areas, becoming heavy in the north west this afternoon. Other parts of the UK have a mostly dry and bright day, although a few light showers are possible. Temperatures range from 14°C in northern Scotland to 27°C in the south.
