Outbreaks of rain in the north fragment today, while in the south it remains dry and hot. Temperatures dip a little in the south on Monday, but in the following days, it warms up again. Temperatures on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday could peak in the mid-30s°C.

Hot in southern and central England

Outbreaks of rain fragment as they edge southwards and eastwards in northern areas. Showery conditions follow into Scotland. Southern and central ares have a hot day with sunny spells.

Temperatures range from 14°C in northwestern Scotland to 32°C in the south east. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tuesday: Most of the UK stays dry, but there is a possibility of rain in the far north west. Warm in the north, hot in the south.

Outlook: Heatwave conditions develop, with temperatures climbing into the low to mid-30s°C in southern and central areas, and the warmth is expected to extend northwards. However, it is likely to remain more changeable in the north-west.
