Changes take place this weekend, as showery outbreaks of rain spread southeastwards. Next week could see hot conditions returning, at least in the south, but details remain uncertain. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 21st July 2026 Hot in the south Most of the UK has another fine day with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells. The main exception is northern and western Scotland, where patchy outbreaks of rain continue and in the afternoon they turn heavier. Temperatures range from 16°C in the far north west to 29°C in the south, with 30°C possibly recorded in one or two locations. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.
