More fine and very warm weather

The rest of the week is expected to bring plenty of fine weather, but there will be some changes. Scattered thundery showers are possible for a time in the south. Temperatures are also expected to edge down by the weekend, particularly in the north and east.

Very warm conditions continue

Isolated showers are possible in the south west, but the rest of the UK has another dry day. Low cloud in central and eastern areas lifts, leaving widespread sunny periods.

Temperatures range from 18°C in the north east to 31°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Thursday: Most of the UK has another fine and very warm or hot day. However, thundery showers are possible in the south west.

Outlook: A  good deal of fine and very warm or hot weather is expected. However, there is a risk of thundery showers, and by the weekend temperatures are expected to edge downwards, particularly in the north and east.
