Over the next few days temperatures are expected to continue peaking above 30°C, but changes will be taking place. The risk of thundery showers in the south west increases, and as pressure falls, a more changeable pattern develops. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 8th July 2026 Very warm start to the week Dry across the UK. Low cloud in central and eastern areas should lift, leaving sunny periods in much of the UK. However, in the north and close to the south coast of England it could be mostly overcast. Warm to hot.
