However, a northeasterly breeze will lead to lower temperatures tomorrow, particularly in the east. Nonetheless, it remains very warm or hot across much of the UK, with similar conditions continuing on Sunday. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 8th July 2026 Exceptionally hot Outbreaks of rain continue to affect northern Scotland, but virtually the whole of the UK has a dry day. However, a few scattered showers could develop this afternoon in Wales and the south west. In long sunny periods it becomes very hot in much of England and eastern Wales. Maximum temperatures probably exceed 30°C in southern and central Britain. Outlook: A good deal of fine weather is expected across the UK. However, the risk of thundery showers is likely to increase in the south for a time. By the middle of the week this risk may begin to ease again, and some models are suggesting the potential for temperatures to climb back into the mid-30s.
