In the north it will be more mixed, although high pressure should progressively extend its influence, leading to drier and brighter periods. In the north cloudy conditions persist, bringing drizzle in places and more persistent rain to northern and western Scotland. Temperatures range from 15°C in the north west to 32°C in the south.
