Central and eastern counties have another hot day, but temperatures will be lower than yesterday, and thundery showers affect the south east and East Anglia. The cooling trend continues tomorrow as fresher conditions spread eastwards across the UK. 14 day weather forecast video Issued 23rd June 2026 Still very warm or hot Thundery showers clear from the south east this morning, leaving sunny periods across much of the UK. There will be more cloud in the north west, where outbreaks of rain develop during the afternoon and become heavy in places. Note: A new June temperatures record was set for the third consecutive day. In Suffolk 37.3°C was reported yesterday, surpassing the previous June temperature record set a day earlier.
