The rest of the meteorological winter is looking mixed. Showers or longer spells of rain are possible in all areas, but the wettest conditions are expected to be in the north west, and dry periods will be more frequent in the south and east. It will often be mild or very mild, giving a spring-like feel at times.

This afternoon it steadily spreads eastwards, with drier conditions following into the west for a time before the next band of rain arrives. Quite windy.
Mild. Temperatures range from 7°C in the far north to 14°C in the south east. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.
