November has started with very mild conditions, and they look set to continue in the coming days. It’s quite possible that the Central England Temperature (CET) average by the end of the first third of the month will be at record breaking levels. That said, there are indications of high pressure building northwards during the second third of the month, bringing the potential for a spell of much colder weather.
