The weather this weekend will be more unsettled than recently. Today, outbreaks of rain push across Northern Ireland and western Britain. Tonight and tomorrow morning the rain will clear, leaving brighter conditions and scattered showers.

Outbreaks of rain will be slow moving across western parts of the UK today. In the northwest they will be very heavy at times, but brighter conditions gradually return to Northern Ireland this afternoon. In central and eastern areas of England, as well as eastern Scotland, it remains mostly dry. It will also be quite windy, particularly in coastal counties of Wales.
Temperatures range from 11°C in the north west to 19°C in eastern England. Check the recently upgraded weather radar for the most up-to-date view.

Tonight:Rain will steadily push eastwards, clearing much of the UK by morning. However, it remains wet across much of Scotland, with patchy outbreaks of rain also lingering in Northern Ireland, the southeast and East Anglia.
Tomorrow:The last of the rain will clear to leave sunny spells across much of the UK. Showers develop in northern and western areas, but the south and east can expect a mostly dry afternoon. Windy in the north.

Monday:
Outbreaks of rain push across Northern Ireland and Scotland. In other areas it is likely to remain mostly dry, although a few showers are possible.
Outlook:
Tuesday and Wednesday bring dry periods to southern and eastern areas. In the north and west there is a greater risk of rain, with the wettest conditions expected in the northwest. During sunny spells it becomes quite warm.
