Tonight, the outbreaks of rain slowly push southwards and perk up. By the end of the night there could be some heavy bursts in Wales and northern England. In most of the rest of the UK it stays dry, but light spells of rain are expected in the northern half of Scotland.
Tomorrow wet conditions become more widespread across England and Wales. There could also be some light rain in Northern Ireland, but Scotland stays mostly dry and bright. In the wet areas it could be very cold for the second half of April.
Tuesday should be dry and bright in much of the north. However, in the south there could be showers or longer spells of rain. Temperatures remain on the low side in the wet areas.
The showery conditions continue on Wednesday. Nonetheless, there should be a reasonable amount of dry and bright weather, particularly in the west.
More of the same on Thursday with sunny spells and showers. Temperatures remain on the low side.
