We are delighted to announce a significant upgrade to our weather picture gallery. This enhancements are designed to provide you with a more immersive and user-friendly experience.
Here’s what you will can expect:
The keyword range has been expanded to make it easier to sort and search for images. Whether you’re looking for a specific weather event or a particular location, our improved search functionality will help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
The new lightbox functionality allows you to view images in an overlay window. This means you can enjoy each image in greater detail without having to navigate away from the gallery thumbnail grid.
You can now save your favourite images across multiple devices. To take advantage of this feature, simply log in with your TWO site account.
For those using touch screens, swipe functionality is now available. This feature allows you to easily navigate backwards and forwards through all the images on the current page.
The limit on image viewing has been removed. Therefore, you can now explore all of our images, not just the most recent 1000.
Our gallery boasts over 2,500 uploads, showcasing the weather at its most spectacular and dramatic, as well as providing a detailed insight into typical UK weather!
To upload images, you can authenticate with a Facebook or Google account. However, for the most flexibility, including the ability to save your favourites, we recommend using a TWO site account.
