Tonight the remaining showers fade away. Clear spells allow temperatures to plunge and a widespread frost develops. Even in parts of the south temperatures are likely to dip below freezing point.
Tomorrow will be dry in much of the UK, but outbreaks of rain push eastwards across the northern half of Scotland. After a cold start temperatures remain on the low side in the east where a good deal of cloud is likely. However, in the west and south west it should feel quite pleasant in sunny spells.
Sunday is expected to be dry in much of the UK. However, there is a risk of patchy rain in north eastern counties and possibly a few showers in the far south east.
Forecast details for Monday are uncertain. There is a chance of showers or longer spells of rain pushing southwards over central and eastern counties of England. The driest and warmest conditions are likely to be in the north west.
Tuesday probably brings a good deal of dry weather, but a few showers could develop. Temperatures remain a little below the norm.
