Fine warm morning. Posted by toppiker60

Southern and central regions have another fine and warm day, but in the north it will be more mixed. Through the weekend a change begins to take place as colder air pushes southwards. The early part of next week is looking chilly and frost probably becomes widespread on some nights. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and contribute to its ongoing development, explore the payment options, see below)

Tonight, outbreaks of rain clear northeastwards across the north of the UK. Other areas will be dry and mild.

Tomorrow, a band of rain will push southeastwards, becoming patchier as it does so. By the afternoon, when it reaches the southern counties, only a few bursts of light rain are likely. Chillier and showery conditions will then follow, affecting northern and then central regions.

Chilly and showery conditions

Sunday is likely to be mostly dry in southern and central regions, but temperatures will be lower than recently. In the north and particularly the north west there is a risk of showers.

During Monday a band of rain pushes southeastwards, clearing from southern counties by the late afternoon or early evening. Chilly and showery conditions follow it, and over high ground in Scotland sleet or snow is possible.

Showers are likely to be more scattered on Tuesday. Nonetheless, temperatures remain on the low side and frost may develop widely overnight.
