In the Scottish glens temperatures could plunge to -15°C.
Tomorrow, the initial area of rain, sleet and snow clears eastwards. However, further showery spells of rain are expected to push eastwards across southern and central counties. The north has a dry and very cold day. In the south temperatures are expected to be higher than recently.
During Monday outbreaks of rain are forecast to push eastwards across southern and central counties. On their back edge some wet snow is possible over high ground.
