Tomorrow will be dry in much of the UK, although outbreaks of rain start pushing up across south western Britain and Northern Ireland during the second half of the day. 14 day forecast video Issued 29th September 2026 Showers mostly in the north and west All of the UK has a blustery day with sunny spells and showers. The showers will be heaviest and most frequent in the north and west. Over higher parts of the Scottish mountains, they could be wintry at times. Clear periods allow temperatures to drop sharply, leading to ground frost in places, particularly in the northern half of the UK and the Welsh valleys. However, it will be very mild, and if sunny spells develop it could become quite warm. Outlook: Changeable. Showers or longer spells of rain are likely in all areas to begin with, but the potential for wet conditions increasingly becomes focused on the north west of the UK. In southern and central areas there should be a good deal of dry weather through the middle part of the week. It is likely to be warm, at least in the southern half of the UK.
