However, a change will take place by Wednesday, as cooler air pushes southwards. There is the potential for significant amounts of rain across much of England on Wednesday and Friday. 14 day forecast video Issued 29th September 2026 Warm in England Patchy outbreaks of rain slowly push southwards across Scotland and Northern Ireland, with brighter and showery conditions following to their north. There could also be a few spots of rain in other western areas, but in southern, central and eastern England it remains dry with warm spells of sunshine.
