Blustery showers affect the north today, while thicker cloud in the south brings some mostly light spells of rain. Tomorrow looks mostly dry, but a lot of cloud is likely to persist. Next week, high pressure will bring more settled and warmer weather, particularly across southern and central areas. 14 day forecast video Issued 15th September 2026 Rain spreading eastwards Patchy outbreaks of rain in central England and Wales fade edge southeastwards. However, in much of the south it will be mostly dry but often cloudy, although some bright spells are possible. The north as sunny spells and showers, with most of them in the west.
