Saturday: Patchy outbreaks of rain affect parts of southern and central Britain. Northern areas have a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Windy.

Outlook: High pressure builds northwards, leading to more settled conditions, particularly in southern and central areas. Despite that, some rain is likely at times, especially in the north and west. Temperatures climb and there is the potential for it to become very warm for September.
