Mostly fine weekend but a little cooler

A few showers develop today, but most of the UK can expect another dry day. Temperatures will be a little lower than recently as cooler air filters down from the north. Nonetheless, there is plenty more dry and warm weather to come in the days ahead.

Scattered showers

Scattered showers push southwards but most of the UK has another dry day. Sunny spells develop widely and in the south it remains very warm, but it will be a little cooler than recently.

Temperatures range from 16°C in the far north to 28°C in southern Britain. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Outlook: A good deal of fine and warm or very warm weather is forecast. However, there is a chance of rain in the northern and western Scotland at times, and a few showers could graze eastern coastal counties.
