Temperatures will be rising during the coming days and computer models are indicating the possibility of 30°c being reached for the first time this year in the UK. It's not certain yet, but Monday or Tuesday are worth watching. However, more unsettled conditions could return during the middle of next week. Outbreaks of rain will affect Northern Ireland and western Britain today. They will tend to come and go throughout the day, but some heavy bursts of rain are possible. In central and eastern counties it remains dry and bright.
Temperatures range from 16°C in the wet areas to a very warm 27°C in eastern England. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, showery outbreaks of rain clear southeastwards. All regions then have clear spells.
Tomorrow, most of the UK will be dry and there should be a reasonable amount of sunshine. However, temperatures will be a little lower in central and eastern counties than today's.

The weekend is expected to bring a lot of dry weather, although patchy outbreaks of rain affect the north west on Saturday and Sunday could see isolated showers in the south. Early next week it is expected to turn very warm or hot for a time. Temperatures could reach 30°C for the first time this year in the UK. whether or not the heat will last remains very uncertain, with some computer models showing a quick break down.
