Most of the UK will be fine today. Tomorrow, wet conditions extend across much of the north and west of the UK. Beyond that a lot of dry weather is expected and there continue to be indications of it turning very warm or hot as we head into next week. There is a chance of 30°C being reached for the first time this summer. Most of the UK has a fine day with spells of warm sunshine, although an odd shower is possible. Also, it is likely to remain cloudier in the north west and there could be a few spots of rain.
Temperatures range from 15°C in the north west to 24°C in the London area. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, showery outbreaks of rain spread across Northern Ireland and Scotland. England and Wales remain dry with clear periods.
Tomorrow, outbreaks of rain push across Northern Ireland and into western Britain. Central and eastern counties have a dry day with sunny periods. Warm in central and eastern England.

The next few days are expected to bring a lot of dry weather, although there is a risk of rain in the north west at times. Also, there could be some patchy rain in the east at the start of the period. In sunny spells it will become warm, particularly in the south.
Early next week it could turn very warm or hot as high pressure becomes centred to the east of the UK and a southwesterly or southerly flow develops. However, there is uncertainty and the pattern could break down quite quickly, with heavy and thundery showers returning.
