There will be some wet weather around in the next few days, but also spells of sunshine. Temperatures will be climbing into the mid 20Cs so it will feel warmer than it has done for much of June so far. Next week's details are still uncertain, but there is a possibility of it becoming settled and very warm for a time. Wet weather is expected to push across Northern Ireland and into western Britain on Friday. It could also affect parts of southern Britain for a time on Saturday before it clears. Other areas should remain dry and warm. By Sunday it is likely to be fine across the UK and temperatures could reach a warm 27°C in the south.
Computer models continue to signal the possibility of a fine and warm period next week. In fact, some are showing heat wave conditions developing. However, there is uncertainty and other outcomes remain possible, so check back for the latest updates.
