Tonight showers steadily fade away to leave mostly dry conditions. Cloud amounts vary.
Tomorrow it's a similar picture. Scattered showers return, with the greatest risk of catching one being in the north west. In sunny spells it will be quite warm, although in central and eastern counties temperatures are likely to be a degree or two lower than today due to a keen northeasterly breeze.
On Tuesday sunny spells develop, but showers could be more widespread than in recent days. The heaviest ones are expected to be in northern and western Britain as well as Northern Ireland. Cool in the wet areas and near to the east coast, but warm where sunny spells develop.
Forecast details for Wednesday are very uncertain. There is a possibility of wet and windy weather pushing into eastern Britain. In central and eastern counties showers could be heavy, but there should be dry and bright periods too.
An area of low pressure probably brings unsettled weather to much of the UK on Thursday. Showers or longer outbreaks of rain are possible and it could be windy too.
