Weather forecast discussion

Friday starts dry across virtually the whole of the UK. However, it is misty and foggy in places.

The mist lifts this morning to leave sunny spells in all areas. Many places remain dry, but there will be scattered showers which could turn be heavy in western Britain.

Quite warm. Temperatures range from 16°C to 23°C, with the highest values probably in northern Scotland. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight the showers steadily fade away to leave clear periods. However, there is a risk of rain pushing into the south eastern corner by the morning.

Tomorrow morning an area of rain could push across areas south of London. In the afternoon heavy showers are likely to develop in the south west and Wales. Other areas remain dry. In sunny spells it will be warm.

Showers but warm sunshine too

Sunday brings fine weather to much of the UK, but scattered showers are likely, particularly in the north west. Warm, although near to the east coast it could stay cooler and cloudier.

Showers may become more widespread in southern and central regions on Monday. The northern half of the UK has a mostly fine day, although isolated showers will bubble up. Temperatures similar to recent days.

Forecast details for Tuesday are uncertain, but the same general theme probably continues. Therefore, warm sunny spells develop, but there could be heavy showers in England and Wales.
