Tonight heavy outbreaks of rain push northwards across much of England and Wales. In the south east and East Anglia the rain eases, but heavy and thundery showers develop later. In Scotland and Northern Ireland it will be dry and clear skies allow quite a widespread frost to form.
Tomorrow outbreaks of rain affect much of central and eastern Britain, with the heaviest bursts becoming focused on the north east. In south western England, Wales, northern Ireland and western Scotland a few showers are possible, but it should be mostly dry. Cold in the wet areas.
During Monday showery spells of rain spread across northern and western areas. To the south and east it remains dry and it will be warmer than recently. Temperatures could reach 18C in East Anglia and the south eastern corner.
Tuesday is expected to be quite mixed. Patchy outbreaks of rain are possible in the east and in western counties scattered showers are likely. There should also be sunny spells in the west and it may become quite warm.
Wednesday may be quite warm and humid. There is a risk of heavy and thundery showers in England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland should be mostly dry.
