Temperatures will be climbing in the coming days, and the Bank Holiday weekend is expected to bring fine and very warm conditions to much of the UK. Some exceptions are likely, with patchy rain at times in the northwest and perhaps thundery showers on Saturday in central areas. There is the potential for it to turning exceptionally hot for the time of the year.
