Thursday starts with rain in the far south east. Elsewhere it is mostly dry.

Through the day, heavy outbreaks of rain push westwards across central Britain and possibly into Northern Ireland. To their south showers develop, but some places could remain dry. In the far north of England and Scotland it remains dry and bright, although there could be a few showers.

Temperatures range from 16°C to 23°C, with the highest values likely in northern Scotland. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Warm spells of sunshine

Sunday brings fine weather to much of the UK, but scattered showers are likely, particularly in the north west.

Current guidance is pointing towards Monday being mostly dry with variable amounts of cloud. In sunny spells it will become quite warm again.
