River levels finally beginning to drop.. Posted by toppiker60

The coming week will bring a good deal of dry weather, but with high pressure often centred to the west of the UK it won't be particularly warm. In fact, the nights will be quite cold and frost is a risk on some nights, particularly in the north. Chilly and showery conditions will continue through the early part of the week ahead. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and contribute to its ongoing development, explore the payment options, see below)

Tonight the showers steadily fade away, although a few remain in eastern Britain. Clear periods allow temperatures to drop and in the north frost develops quite widely.

Tomorrow, showers develop again but they will be more scattered than today. Temperatures in the afternoon should be a little higher than on Monday, but they remain on the low side and frost is likely to develop quite widely overnight.
