The TWO September outlook has been issued. The signal for warmer conditions has faded, and medium range computer models are currently pointing towards unsettled and quite cool weather.
Tuesday starts mostly dry in central and south eastern England, as well as much of Scotland. Elsewhere it's a wet picture and there are some heavy outbreaks of rain around. Through the day the rain spread southeastwards and clearer conditions follow in from the northwest.
Temperatures range from a cool 12C (54F) in the north west to 21C (70F) in the south east. Check the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight showers affect the north west. Elsewhere it becomes dry and clear periods develop.
Tomorrow northern areas have scattered showers Southern and central regions remain dry with some sunny spells.
During Thursday wet and windy weather spreads across the north. The south should remain dry.
