During the next few days temperatures slowly recover and there will be quite a lot of dry weather. Unsettled conditions return during the middle of next week.

Unsettled next week

During Monday patchy outbreaks of rain spread across much of the north and west. Central and eastern England remain dry. In southern and central areas it should feel warmer than in recent days.

Tuesday is looking dry and bright in most of the UK. The exception is the north west where outbreaks of rain are likely.

The dry conditions may hang on in the south and east of England for much of Wednesday. However, outbreaks of rain push across other areas.

The rest of the week is looking very unsettled. All regions have wet and windy spells as deep areas of low pressure push in from the west.
