Settled outlook

The dry weather continues on Monday in most of the UK and there should be a reasonable amount of sunshine. The exception is the far north west where there is a risk of rain. Frost will be widespread early and late.

The settled period is forecast to last for much of next week. However, Atlantic disturbances could brush the north west and bring rain at times. Elsewhere the days will be dry with close to average temperatures but there will be nighttime frosts in places. Towards the end of the period the chance of showers may increase.
