Early rain clears the south east today leaving a mix of sunny spells and showers in all regions. Tomorrow another batch of wet and windy weather pushes eastwards across all areas. Sunday starts with patchy outbreaks of rain in the south east and East Anglia. There's also an area of heavy showers in northern England. This morning the wet weather in the south east clears to leave a mix of sunny spells and showers in all regions. The showers will be heavy at times, especially in the west. It will be quite windy.
Temperatures range from 9C (48F) in the north west to 13C (55F) in the south east. See the rain radar for the latest view.

Tonight the showers retreat back to western counties. Elsewhere it become mainly dry and chilly under clearing skies.

Tomorrow morning a few showers are possible in central and eastern areas but it should be mainly dry until the afternoon. In the west cloud builds and outbreaks of rain develop. They become heavy and over high ground in Scotland fall as sleet or snow. During the second half of the day the rain spreads eastwards across most of the UK.

Through Tuesday outbreaks of rain move southwards. Ahead of them in southern and central regions it will be very mild. Behind them in the north it turns colder and showery.
Showers or longer spells of rain are expected in much of the country during Wednesday. Over high ground in the north the showers could fall as sleet or snow.
The rest of next week is looking changeable with showers or longer spells of rain. Temperatures should be close to the seasonal average generally, but it could be colder at times, particularly in the north.
