Buzz

Tomorrow heavy outbreaks of rain spread across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England. Over the Scottish mountains they turn to snow. Southern and central counties have another dry but often cloudy day. Temperatures will be close to the February average.

Exceptionally mild late in the week

Wednesday brings further wet and windy weather to the north and west. There could also be some patchy rain in southern and central counties. It will be mild in all regions.

During the rest of the week high pressure builds to the southeast. A lot of dry weather is expected, although Atlantic disturbances may continue to brush the north west and bring some rain.

A very mild south or southwesterly flow develops and makes it feel springlike. Temperatures climb well into the teens Celsius and they may start to approach the February record.
