Buzz

Tomorrow starts fine and frosty but cloud will be building in the south west. During the course of the day outbreaks of rain develop and they spread northeastwards across Wales and much of southern England. The rain quickly turns to sleet or snow and disruptive accumulations are possible.

During the evening and overnight the sleet and snow pushes into central and northern areas. Drier conditions return to the south. In areas to the north of the precipitation band a few wintry showers are possible but it stays mainly dry.

Cold continues into the weekend

During Friday the rain, sleet and snow steadily eases and clears away, although in eastern England there could be showery outbreaks for much of the day. In the north west wintry there will be wintry showers and later in the day they may become heavier and more frequent.

Saturday brings further wintry showers. Near the east coast there is a chance of longer periods of rain, sleet and snow. It remains very cold with frost early and late in the day.

Sunday looks dry and cold in most places. However, outbreaks of rain may push into the north west and be preceded by a period of sleet and snow.
