The pattern appears changeable, with neither high nor low pressure fully in control. A number of days will see rainfall but there will be dry periods too.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is expected later on, around Friday 21st August, and overnight lows are set to drop through the period, and conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Warm or very warm conditions are probable on, with daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 20s. The warmest conditions are predicted on on Saturday 15 August, when temperatures may reach 28°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Saturday 22 August, falling to 8°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
Rainfall totals look substantial, with around 67mm over the period. The wettest conditions are probable on on Monday 24 August.
