An area of high pressure looks set to dominate, favouring settled weather. Some rain is on course, but dry spells will also feature.
Conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Daytime high temperatures will be comfortable at times for outdoor activities. The relative high point comes on Sunday 6 September, with temperatures around 16°C. Temperatures will be at their lowest on Saturday 29 August, dipping to 2°C. Sheltered and rural areas may see patchy frost during clearer nights.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 35mm over the period. The wettest conditions are forecast on on Monday 14 September.
