An area of high pressure looks set to dominate, favouring settled weather. Dry conditions should prevail for the majority of days.
A sharp change in overnight temperatures is on course later on, around Saturday 27th June, and the overall trend is for daytime temperatures to rise through the period.
Hot conditions are predicted on at times, with highs reaching into the 30s. Wednesday 24 June looks like the hottest day, with temperatures climbing to 31°C. Tuesday 30 June sees the lowest temperatures, though remaining above 8°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
A blustery spell looks set to develop around Thursday 25 June, bringing gusts of 40mph.
