An area of high pressure looks set to dominate, favouring settled weather. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is anticipated around Thursday 1 October and overnight lows are set to become milder as the period progresses.
On some days temperatures will be high enough to make the weather feel reasonably pleasant. Monday 28 September should see the best of any milder weather, with highs of 22°C. Temperatures will be at their lowest on Friday 25 September, dipping to 1°C. Sheltered and rural areas may see patchy frost during clearer nights.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 26mm over the period. The wettest conditions are anticipated on Thursday 24 September.
