A mixed pressure pattern is likely, leading to changeable weather. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures looks set to develop around Friday 14th August, and the overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period.
Very hot conditions are expected at times, with highs reaching into the mid 30s. The hottest conditions are forecast on on Thursday 13 August, when temperatures may reach 36°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Monday 17 August, falling to 9°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 30mm over the period. The wettest conditions are forecast on on Sunday 16 August.
