The overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period.
Daytime high temperatures will be comfortable at times for outdoor activities. The relative high point comes on Wednesday 19 August, with temperatures around 18°C. The chilliest spell comes on Saturday 22 August, with minimums near 3°C. Sheltered and rural areas may see patchy frost during clearer nights.
Rainfall totals look substantial, with around 109mm over the period. The wettest conditions are expected on Monday 24 August.
