Highs will often stay in the 10–15°C bracket during the period. The warmest weather looks to come later in the period, potentially around 16°C, subject to considerable change. There are hints of colder nights later on, with minimums possibly around -3°C. Day-to-day temperatures vary considerably through the period, with a marked difference between the mildest and coldest days. With temperatures forecast to fall to or below freezing, overnight frosts may well develop, particularly during any clear spells.
Gusty conditions are predicted around Saturday 10 October, with winds reaching 50mph. Light to moderate rainfall is signalled, totalling around 11mm over the period. Colder interludes may bring a risk of sleet or snow.
