High pressure is on course for much of the period, bringing generally settled conditions. Dry conditions should prevail for the majority of days.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is forecast later on, around Monday 22nd June, and daytime highs are set to rise but overnight lows will drop, suggesting clearer skies and a widening temperature range.
Warm or very warm conditions are expected, with daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 20s. Thursday 18 June looks like the warmest day, with temperatures up to 28°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Sunday 14 June, falling to 9°C.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 26mm over the period. The wettest conditions are forecast on on Monday 22 June.
